Women 2.0 Canada is a network for young women entrepreneurs, providing access to mentorship and resources, both financial and non-financial.

We aim to: increase the number of young women entrepreneurs; encourage women to work with and in the field of technology; provide resources that will lead to the launch of their companies; network women with other female entrepreneurs, experienced executives, and investors; and help young women get access to early stage funding.

Women 2.0 started in Silicon Valley when the founders came together to start a women’s movement in the Web 2.0 frenzy, organizing the first Women 2.0 Conference in April, 2006 and hosting regular networking mixers. Today Women 2.0 has grown to include chapters in Toronto and Ottawa.
