Speaking of entrepreneurial spirit…

In my last post recapping our third Women 2.0 Ottawa event, I mentioned that many of the women in attendance are entrepreneurs themselves.

I’ve invited these ladies to send Women 2.0 Ottawa an overview of their companies so that we can profile them on this site. We’d like to extend that invitation to you as well.

If you’re a woman in tech or a tech-related field who’s started your own business, email Melany and Monika at ottawa[at]women2[dot]ca with a 250-word description of your company (and a link to your website of course). We’ll start a digest page of Ottawa women entrepreneurs and list your company there.

Happy writing…

What leadership is all about…

Even more excellent is that many of these women have already — or very soon will be — starting their own companies. I love the entrepreneurial spirit of Ottawa women!

So the great thing about Jen Hunter is that she is an incredibly engaging speaker. When talking to Jen, its obvious she is passionate about what she does — which is to help organizational leaders create working environments that inspire teams to work better, faster and with a great sense of meaning and purpose!

Questions to ponder

Jen started by asking us to ponder two questions: Who are you as a leader? and What is your burning question about leadership? Read more »
